// the human in the loop

The Human in the Loop.

AI does the doing; the human does the deciding. This whole course is built by someone running that climb for real — operator to builder to advisor — and the person behind the pace car is the proof the method works.

KEVIN GRIFFITH · BUILDER
Kevin Griffith — operator · builder · advisor

I didn't come to AI from tech — I came to it from the phones. I started in sales, originating loans and running a call-center floor, then moved into systems, then sales technology, and now I design and manage AI agents at the scale of a national lender. I know the work the agents replace because I did it.

The same operator → builder → advisorclimb this course is built on — I ran it inside one company, end to end, and I'm still climbing.

// what I've built with AI — for a national lender
  • An AI platform that runs the entire outbound engine: who to contact and how to reach them, the texts and emails, analysis of every call, and compliance — one system in place of a stack of vendors.
  • An AI that qualifies borrowers by voice and wins back the ones who went quiet.
  • A system that automates running a workforce — onboarding, licensing, and access that used to take a team.
// what I've built on my own — with AI
  • A data & merch platform for a youth motorsport.
  • An online store, a music project, and software tools of my own.
  • None of which I was "qualified" to build. That's the whole point — AI let me.
// you're standing in the proof

This whole thing was built with AI.

The lessons, the tools, the arcade games that talk back, the checkout, the words you're reading — built by one person directing AI. You're not reading about what's possible. You're standing in it.

// what one person directed AI to do

I didn't write most of this — I directed a fleet of AI tools, and they didn't just write code. Here's what one person, with the right method, pointed them at.

  • The entire business infrastructure — set up by directing AI.The domain, DNS, and email routing (Cloudflare). The database and your login (Supabase). The email that actually reaches your inbox (Resend). The hosting and every update that goes live (Vercel). The code home for the whole brand (GitHub). This is the part everyone assumes you need a specialist for — a developer, an IT person, an ops team. You don't anymore. The technical wall that used to stop people cold is now something one motivated person can clear with the right method.
  • The site, the design, the visuals.Claude Code built the site you're standing in. Claude Design shaped the look and the canvas work. OpenAI generated the images.
  • The thinking, planning, and heavy lifting.Claude Cowork — the strategy and the hard problem-solving underneath all of it.
  • The real-world execution — the actual clicks.Registering the domain, configuring the DNS records, wiring up the email — Claude in Chrome did the real steps in a real browser. Not advice about how to do it. It did it.
// where the human comes in

Two things — and they're the two things in the kits. The idea: knowing what to build and how it should work — that's the Builds, advisor-level thinking structured into a ready-to-run build. The structure: knowing how to build it so it holds up — that's the Builder Kit, coming soon: thirteen years of engineering and development, compiled. Not my notes — my career.

// the turn

Here's the part that matters. The hard part — the part you used to need someone like me for — is now in your hands. The judgment and the structure are in the Builds and the Kit; the building is yours to do. So go build whatever you can dream of.I'm here to help along the way.

The proof you can hear

Here's the thing I'd rather show you than tell you.

One night my kid and I finished Miles Morales on the PS5. The credits rolled, the end-song played, and — being music fans — we looked at each other and thought, let's try making one ourselves. So we did.

I had my kid summarize the story, I broke it into sections and built the song structure, and we wrote it — the words, the arc, all ours. We got it about 80% of the way there on our own. Then I got curious: what if I had AI review it? Not write it — review it. No lyrics from the machine, just feedback, the way a producer in the room would give it. So I asked. It gave me genuinely good notes, we made the changes in a single pass, and then we used Suno to give it a voice and a sound.

That song is “Brooklyn Sky.” Listen on Apple Music ↗

To be exact about who did what: the lyrics are mine. The song structure is mine. AI was the coach— it reviewed and pushed back, it never wrote the words. Suno produced the voice and the sound. That's the whole method of this site in one song: a person with something to say, using AI to go further than he could alone — not to replace the work, to amplify it.

And we kept going. My kid loves building comic books, so we turned a short story into “Teleport.” Listen ↗ From there I started venturing out on my own — instrumentals, love songs like “Unmade” Listen ↗, even a Christmas song, “The Gingerbread Man.” Listen ↗ Every track sharpened the prompting — tougher structures, harder asks — until the whole process became the kind of coaching-and-review the Songwriter's Studio Build is built on.

Hundreds of songs later — comic-book stories, love songs, instrumentals, one we even tailored for the next Hunger Gamesmovie and sent off to the studio (they never wrote back; we're not bitter) — the through-line is simple: a dad and his kid who love music, and a method anyone can use.

That's not a pitch. That's just what happened.

Beyond the course

The course is built to make you not need me. When you want a human in your corner anyway — direction, a talk, or one sharp second opinion — here's how.

Want a human in your corner? Advisory · speaking · consulting →
// advisory

Advisory

A standing seat at your table: ongoing direction on where to point AI across your business — what to build, whether to, and what's coming before it arrives. The judgment the ladder can't teach is exactly why this exists.

Speaking

Keynotes and workshops — the track-practice moment, scaled to a stage. Takes a room from “what is AI?” to signed up and building before they leave. Often the front door to everything else.

// consulting

Consulting

A second brain on a specific decision — what to build, whether to, and where the landmines are buried. Hourly, for when you need one sharp answer, not a standing relationship.
